Alexis de Bruin is a Vice President and member of the investment team at Evolution. He joined Evolution in May 2022. Alexis has 7 years of experience in private credit, investment banking, and credit trading.

Prior to joining Evolution, Alexis worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Wells Fargo, focused in the Industrials sector. At Wells Fargo, Alexis managed key transaction workstreams across mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising events, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, and investor presentations, which contributed to raising over $17 billion in new debt. Prior to that, Alexis was a Credit Trader at Edward Jones, where he managed various Investment Grade portfolios, including Industrials, Health Care, Energy, Staples, Consumer Discretionary and Utilities, and made markets for both Investment Grade and High-Yield corporate bonds.

Alexis graduated magna cum laude from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics-Finance and later earned his MBA from Cornell's SC Johnson College of Business.

At Evolution, Alexis is responsible for originating, executing, and completing diligence processes for new investment opportunities across private credit and trade finance. He plays a key role in structuring transactions and negotiating documents. In addition to underwriting new deals, Alexis actively monitors portfolio companies, maintaining close relationships with management teams and tracking performance across a range of credit strategies within ECPs’ funds.
