Chuck R. Mullen is an Assistant Controller at Evolution. He joined the firm in June 2024. Chuck has 17 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting of complex fund structures.

Prior to joining Evolution, Chuck joined Audax Group in 2022, where he was responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of all financial statements in the Direct Lending Solutions strategy. In addition, Chuck oversaw the process of Capital Activity, both capital calls and distributions in his division and contributed to Liquidity and FP&A analysis as needed. Prior to that, Chuck spent 14 years at State Street in the Alternative Investment Solutions division where he worked as an administrator for numerous fund structures. In this role, Chuck reconciled varying investment products, including credit default swaps, interest rate swaps, future contracts and currency options, to name a few. In his last role as Assistant Vice President of Hedge Fund Accounting, he oversaw a global team of 12 professionals across the United States, Poland and India.

Chuck obtained his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Boston University and his Bachelor of Science from Worcester State University.

At Evolution, Chuck is a key member of the finance operations team where his deep expertise contributes greatly to the team’s overall effectiveness.
