Jacob Kurpis is an Associate and a member of the investment team at Evolution. He joined the firm in Junes 2025. Jacob has 8+ years of experience in structured finance, distressed and high-yield credit research, leveraged finance and financial sponsors, and restructuring and special situations.

Prior to joining Evolution, Jacob Kurpis was an Associate at Ducera Partners where he focused primarily on advising debtor and creditor clients on complex in-court and out-of-court restructuring processes. Prior to this, Jacob was an Analyst in the leveraged finance group of Société Générale where he assisted in underwriting LBO debt for sponsor-backed transactions. He began his career as an Analyst in structured finance at Fitch Ratings and later conducted high-yield and distressed credit research at Debtwire.

Jacob Kurpis graduated from Villanova University with dual majors in Finance and History.
