Joe Lu is the Head of Corporate Solutions for the Firm. He has more than 20 years of experience investing across the capital structure in performing and distressed middle market companies, as well as structured and credit derivative products. His experience spans across multiple credit cycles, sourcing, structuring, and executing bespoke and opportunistic investments in both private and public markets.

Prior to Evolution, Joe joined Harvard Management Company in 2015 as a senior member of the investment team responsible for sourcing and investing in debt, equity, structured, and credit derivative products across multiple sectors. Prior to joining HMC, Joe spent seven years as a Partner and a Portfolio Manager at MAST Capital Management, a Boston-based hedge fund focused on middle market companies. Before joining MAST, Joe was an investment professional at Kamunting Street Capital Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, investing across the capital structure of public and private companies. Joe graduated from Colgate University with a BA in Economics.
