Mariia Goncharenko is a Vice President and a member of the investment team at Evolution. She joined the firm in April 2021. Mariia has over three years of experience in originating, structuring, and executing a broad range of assignments within leveraged debt capital markets and leveraged finance functions.

Prior to joining Evolution, Mariia's spent one year at HSBC where she was a leveraged and acquisition finance analyst. Mariia started her career at Deutsche Bank as an investment banking analyst.

Mariia graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics.

At Evolution, Mariia is responsible for driving the firm’s engagement in private credit and trade finance, spanning the full investment lifecycle from identifying new opportunities and conducting due diligence to structuring transactions and finalizing agreements. Beyond deal execution, Mariia cultivates strong relationships with portfolio company management teams and actively monitors performance across diverse credit strategies within ECP’s funds.
