Ruben Cotti-Lowell is a Principal at Evolution. He joined the firm in April 2020. Ruben has over a decade of experience in originating, structuring and execution across a broad scope of assignments within leveraged finance, including corporate acquisitions and sponsor-backed transactions.

Prior to joining Evolution, Ruben spent 5 years in Leveraged Finance at Bank of America in New York and London. Prior to that he had roles at KPMG and TRILLIUM as a Senior Associate and Proprietary Equity Trader, respectively.

Ruben graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and holds two Masters: one in Finance from the University of Rochester and one in Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

At Evolution, Ruben currently leads all aspects of portfolio monitoring including assessing potential risks that could impact fund performance and stability, evaluating identified risks to determine potential impact and likelihood of occurrence, evaluating Evolution’s funds’ resilience to extreme market conditions or adverse scenarios, and evaluating the potential impact of various market scenarios on portfolio performance.
