Sam Ward is a Senior Associate at Evolution. He joined the firm in April 2025. Sam has 8 years of experience in credit investing, restructuring, and capital structure advisory.

Prior to joining Evolution, Sam spent 3 years at Blue Owl Capital (formerly Atalaya Capital Management) on the Corporate & Opportunistic team, where he focused on bespoke opportunistic credit investments across the capital structure as well as analyzing credit secondaries transactions. Before that, he spent 2 years at Raymond James in the Capital Structure Advisory team, advising on both in- and out-of-court restructurings and private credit capital raises. He began his career with 3 years as a Senior Associate in the Turnaround and Restructuring group at Berkeley Research Group.

Sam graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

At Evolution, Sam is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing credit investments across multiple industries and deal types.
