Scott Barek is a Managing Director in Structured Credit and Leverage within Evolution’s investment team leading structured finance product origination as well as structuring efforts for leveraged finance and working capital investments across industries. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in structured credit and financing markets.

Prior to joining Evolution, Scott spent over twelve years at BofA Securities. At BofA Securities, Scott was a Managing Director and Desk Head of US Structured Funding Trading where he led a team focused on complex fixed income funding transactions. His prior roles included senior positions in structured credit and solutions at Nomura Securities, Barclays Capital, and Lehman Brothers. He began his career in CDO structuring at Lehman Brothers.

Scott graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Industrial Management and Economics.

At Evolution, Scott is responsible for sourcing and executing structured finance product transactions as well as leading transactional financing across Evolution’s investment platform.”
